The HRF Memorial Garden was opened at our AGM BBQ by Laura Davies. Laura asked us to consider placing a plaque she had had made in memory of her HRF loan horse, Melody at the HRF HQ. At the time there was no where that we could think of to put the plaque, so the idea for the memorial garden was born. We needed to plant some trees on a corner of field to provide shelter, shade and dry the ground up in winter, so this was considered a great place to make a start, fast forward a few weeks and the garden was finished in the nick of time! The team here at HRF worked really hard and despite not one of them being particularly green fingered, pulled it off just in time for the event! if you would like to have a plaque made in memory of and HRF loan horse that has passed away, please get in contact.
