Loan A Horse

FOREST

Name: Forest Age: approx 4 years Height: 12hh Breed: mini cob Forest has very recently been backed- we are rehoming him as a ridden horse, but due to his lack of ridden experience he is not suitable as a child's pony- yet. Ideally we are looking for a child with a small adult or teen available to ride with the experience to bring him on. We have started him and he is able to walk, trot and canter in the arena, has been for short hacks and seen traffic. However we do not have any riders small enough to do much more with him. Forest is a real baby to do things with in terms of tying up and grooming, he will chew the rope and move about and gets bored easily- however under saddle he is really able to focus and has been really sensible so far, he seems to love his work and tires really hard. In the field, Forest gets on well with other horses and can go out with mares or geldings.
